lyrics
Suffer decline
We bathe in lungfuls of blood
Here's where power lies
Sir Impaler
Beds of upright nails
On bloodied rungs we rot
Establishment of lies reveals itself
How have we destroyed ourselves?
Come on we need help now
Free us from hell.
Son of dragon
Your tomb of horse bone and jaws
You paid off death once more.
Sadistic tyrant
Mothers feed their husbands whole
Here lies the burning shell of a child.
it's eyes open wide.
Reveal yourself
How have we destroyed ourselves
Come on we need help now
Free us from hell
Come on i need you now
Cover me from the angry crowd
Come on i need you now
Cover me from the violent sound
I have yet to listen to this entire album without skipping a single track. Like an enchanter, the album keeps your attention with its effortless flow throughout, despite having crushing riffs, progressive breakdowns, and epic-length songs. gebs
These guys are, in my opinion, one of the greatest stoner/sludge band that have popped up in recent years. Sure, you have the "old gods" like Sleep, Electric Wizard, and Kyuss but Spaceslug brings something new to the table. They're fresh, and it seems like they've got no thought of stopping anytime soon. Gaerea's first release of "Unsettling Whispers" was in 2018, and since, they dared define a "black metal" niche of their own, they dared to walk a new path and stir shit up a bit in the realm of BM, this album is a masterpiece and a milestone proving that it can be done, provided the band can pull it off, and they did, oh they did! Gloomy, dark, post-BM sludgy whatever, it's Gaerea, and this one belongs in my BC collection, the end. sachavonkarl74
Utterly indescribable new record from Greek metal band Locust Leaves features corkscrewing tempos, manic vocal shifts & dense arrangements. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 6, 2017
Thundering, arena-ready hard rock with occult-inspired lyrics and gothic stylings; the pinnacle of musical devil worship. Bandcamp New & Notable May 8, 2019
